Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)-related learning is an integral component of a Silverleaf education and all students in all grades have STEM class daily. Students engage in lessons that explore connections between science, technology, engineering and innovation. Through hands-on activities each day, children use teamwork, creative thinking and problem-solving skills to invent unique solutions to real-world challenges. This year, due in part to a grant from Mid-Valley STEM-CTE Hub, Silverleaf upgraded its Makerspace and STEM equipment—including brand new laptops.
