We enjoyed a wonderful Afternoon of the Arts! Families came to enjoy the 2022 Music Showcase and view student art, photography and projects on display. Thank you Miss Gale for your awesome music instruction, and Miss Ruddiman, Mr. Schweickert and Mr. Toepfer for your creativity and inspirational leadership of the students each and every day.
Gizmo and Cosmo are enjoying school and the students watched Zipper hatch today. Thank you Mr. Schweickert (our awesome STEM teacher) and students for taking such good care of them.
Students had an awesome 2022 Earth Day celebration. Our annual tradition: litter clean up! After rounding up a lot of trash in our neighborhood, the students cleaned out and replanted some of the community garden beds at school. We had fun games, activities, and yummy food. Thanks everyone for making it such a fun day.

After School clubs begin after winter break until spring break. This term will have robotics club and newsletter/year book club. Stay tuned for new postings regarding more after school activities as they open.
Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)-related learning is an integral component of a Silverleaf education and all students in all grades have STEM class daily. Students engage in lessons that explore connections between science, technology, engineering and innovation. Through hands-on activities each day, children use teamwork, creative thinking and problem-solving skills to invent unique solutions
Silverleaf is proud to host Camp Invention again this year. Camp will be held July 19-23, 2021. We plan to hold camp in-person though families may choose to participate virtually. Please visit the Camp Invention website to register.
We are currently in Phase II of our reopening plan with each class in the building full days two days per week and virtual school 2.5 days per week. Phase III is expected to begin in April with all students attending in-person on Fridays as well. COVID hasn't slowed down our hands-on STEAM education. Students
