Tuesdays 09/03/24-10/29/24 It seems like everything nowadays has a tiny computer in it, in this class you’ll learn how they work and even program one yourself! Students will work with a tiny computer called a micro:bit that can be programmed to do all sorts of interesting things. No previous programming experience necessary. Recommended for students

Sign up for the weekly engineering challenge and test your skills with other students to see who can build the… (tallest, longest, strongest, fastest) thing out of… (paper, spaghetti, toothpicks, paperclips, and whatnot). Fun for all grades!

This class will take a deeper look at what’s going on at a hardware level. “Intro to Microcontrollers” is not required but you should have some familiarity with microcontrollers and basic programming concepts. Recommended for students grade 5 and up.
