Silverleaf after-school robotics teams and clubs for elementary, middle and high school students
We have three programs to choose from depending on skill level.
Elementary VEX IQ for students aged 9 to 12*
Middle School VEX IQ for students aged 11 to 15*
VEX V5 for students aged 12 to 18*
*Age as of May 2027 for the 2026-2027 season
2026 – 2027 Season information:
VEX IQ – Starts meeting in September
Elementary IQ Tuesdays 5:00 – 7:00
Middle School IQ Thursdays 5:00 – 7:00
First month’s deposit is $300 then $100/month
VEX V5 – Level one teams:
Starts in June, choice to start in September. One practice weekly and ~ 4 Saturday tournaments and 6 Friday evening leagues – all in Salem
First month’s deposit: $300 then $100 monthly
VEX V5 – Level Two team:
Starts in June. Two practices weekly and ~ 9 Saturday tournaments (some farther away) and 6 Friday evening leagues
First month’s deposit of $400 then $125 monthly
Meeting Times:
Elementary VEX IQ Tuesdays 5:00 – 7:00
Middle School VEX IQ Thursdays 5:00 – 7:00
VEX V5 Tuesdays 4:30 – 7 and Level two only: Thursdays 4:30 – 7:00
Tournaments:
All tournaments happen on Saturdays and typically start at 8 and end around 4.
Duration:
The season oficially starts when the game-based engineering challenge is released at worlds the end of April. Tournaments typically start in November and end with State in February or March.
