We are excited to reopen our doors for Silverleaf Summer STEAM.  Kids entering grades K-6 can come together for hands-on STEM-learning fun!  Students will engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate real-world challenges. This year, Summer STEAM features the following science and environmental education programs.  Camps are held Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. unless otherwise specified.  Sign up below.

Problems for Pollinators

World pollinators are in big trouble!  Campers will explore the secrets of soil, plants and pollinators in order to help solve the pollinator problem.  Campers will become soil scientists and pollinator and plant protectors, through hands-on environmental STEM activities that allow campers to find solutions to the most pressing problems for pollinators.

Harnessing Earth’s Power

Earth is depleted.  Lucky for us, Earth has a lot of friendly fighting power waiting to be harnessed.  Campers will become part of the HOPE Team (Help Our Planet Earth) as they learn about renewable and non-renewable resources and engage in activities that harness solar, wind, geothermal, and hydropower.   Campers will engineer, innovate, and evaluate our greatest environmental struggles and opportunities.
